Thanks to everyone who kept looking for Sasha, her first nite home was rough she was sick all night, but by morning she was sleeping peacfully and was ready for a light breakfast. I had her chip scanned to verify she was mine, she was! not that I needed convincing. the vet checked her over and apart from the obvious cuts and being very underweight he said she should be fine with a lot of love and care. she had an atibiotic injection and some tablets to be safe, Ive already wormed her too. She came to work with me yesterday and immediatly started doing all the little things she used to. today she is almost back to her old self apart from being thin which will take a little time. She is being spoilt rotten, a new collar, toys, lots of cuddles and a few treats. Every one is so happy to see her my other two dogs and even my daughters pup who had only met her once before but they were playing in the garden like old friends. will post some photos soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Good that she is going to he vets tomorrow in case she has had some sort of trauma besides being lost. Really pleased to say - Welcome home Sasha xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Maly for taking the time to cross match and alert us of a similar dog in kennels and thanks Yasa for alerting me. WOW just spoken to owner and so weird they got her back about HALF AN HOUR ago.  She has been missing 9 weeks!!!!  Owner did get a call on Monday of a possible match in Kent, so thank you to helpers for thinking of her.  Tonight a neighbour knocked and said they think Sasha was in a house in the next street.  Owner went and it was her, she had just walked into the house.  She is in bit of a bad way, very scarred on nose, ear and her tail was bleeding.  Sasha will be going to the vets tomorrow to get checked over and her chip checked.  She is also very subdued, which is to be expected.  If only dogs could tell where they have been.  It is brilliant news to find out she is HOME and with lots of T.L.C. she will soon be back to normal.  Have given her mum some advice on how to care for her over the next few weeks and she will let us know how she gets on in the vets.  Welcome home Sasha.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

The Manchester Dogs home had a couple of dogs similar to yours when I went last week. Wouldn't like to say for sure as they do scan for a chips.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner, sorry to see Sasha is missing.  Thanks for sending her details to Admin to register her details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.   You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, we cannot stress enough the importance of postering.  Posters can be printed once a photo has been uploaded by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be registered and logged in).  Contact DW’s, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Ensure you contact the CHIP Co and report her missing and that your contact details are up to date. Please update on who has been contacted, DW’s etc and if you have started postering.   Has she gone missing from home or on a walk?  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope she is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
