Well done Mum and Dad, brings back wonderful memories of Daisy the Harlequin Great Dane stolen from Canterbury that we all came together to get back home safely to her Dad. I remember well the lovely photo of her wearing the policemans cap after being transfered back home in a riot wagon!

So pleased that Reggie is safely home with his family! I thought I should mention that he was not found in Gravesend, but in Trottiscliffe near West Malling. He was running down our road, and when my husband stopped and called him, he immediately jumped into our Land Rover. We checked that he did not belong to anyone in the village, then took him to our vet near Gravesend for them to scan his microchip number. Luckily they were able to immediately reunite him with his owners. Unfortunately his mother was not with him. If anyone sees a spaniel fitting her description in this area, please contact her owners in the hopes it may be Ruby. Keeping our fingers crossed she is found safe and well.

South Wales police seized yet more dogs. Don't know anything more about breeds but might be worth enquiring to see if Ruby is amongst them.

Polpat
there are photos from Sussex police of spaniels they have recovered - has the owner seen these?

On Tuesday (16 March) Sussex Police seized 10 Lurcher and Spaniel type dogs from a location in Surrey.

They are asking anyone who has lost either a lurcher or spaniel to contact them by sending an email: dogtheft@sussex.pnn.police.uk with your contact details.
They have a dedicating team managing this and believe they may be stolen
