Look at Runnymede ( Surrey police) fb where 8 dogs have been recovered inc one that looks like yours and the police are looking at him/her’s back where a chip is supposed to be but not sure if it was there

Have you or anyone you know you know lost a Cocker Spaniel?
Whilst my husband was working (road works) in your lovely village on Wednesday evening. At about 7:30 pm this very friendly Cocker Spaniel bitch was running down the middle of the road. He picked her up (she was soaking wet) and put her in his van, as he was worried for her safety and expecting an owner to appear?
Unfortunately no owner to be seen so he called the West Berkshire dog warden. The dog was chipped but apparently the owners have not updated their information?
The is now with the West Berkshire Dog Warden.

Recovered dog
We are reaching out to the general public to see if any one recognises this dog. She is microchipped but it is unregistered therefore we are unable to trace any owners. She may be from the Ireland region.
Golden working cocker spaniel, female, entire, approximately 2 years old.
Police and RSPCA aware of case and currently in foster care with one of our nurses.
Let’s find if someone is missing this sweet, beautiful girl!
