- Hi. There's a post on NextDoor that this dog has been handed in to village vets - copied post below:
ALSATIAN FOUND! Last night around midnight, I could hear what sounded like a dog in distress outside, after it continued for a while, I decided to go and investigate and discovered an Alsatian looking very frightened and lost on the grounds of St Charles hospital. He was a bit nervous, but still very friendly and I was eventually able to gain his trust and get him to a safe place (my neighbours’ property) to provide some food, water and shelter until the morning. And after taking him to vets (Village Vets St Helens) this morning, it appears he is chipped, but not registered in the UK and therefore unable to track down his owners. The vets have now given him to the local animal warden to look after and to help track its owners if possible.
Please take a look at his pics and get in touch with the vets (02089688333) if you are or if you know the owner! - 2021-03-15 11:41 matmax
