- Other Info This isn't my address! I work with animal rescue & this is where Mika was sent for care, while we searched for her new forever home, however I suspect she has been sold on by people I trusted, who will now not tell me where she is. I am so worried for her, as she has not yet been spayed & I fear that people may try & breed her. Police are aware of this situation. There was mention of Leeds, Pontefract & Doncaster as possible new locations where she is being held. I am offering a reward

- admin can you pls verify whether this is a resolved civil matter?
- 2021-03-30 20:38 Jayne L
- This dog is not lost or stolen, and definitely not sold
This is a dispute between two people which has been settled by the council and the police as a civil matter.
The dog is in a loving family home is safe and being cared for. Images and videos of the well-being of the dog have been provided to the relevant authority within the last month.
In regards to the comment from Rachel, unfortunately I doubt that was the dog, it sounds very sad to read what you have seen however I think this is a different dog and also sounds equally upsetting to see and read... although it was not Mika.

- A picture of the deformed tail would be helpful as well? I assume the rescue showed due diligence to get one when they assessed her?

- Hi I’ve just seen this picture of this dog and I know this will not help because we saw her so long ago but I obviously didn’t realise at the time she was missing. We saw her on the 2/1 on the large grassed area at Bramley fall woods. She was with a male and female both in their 20’s. They seemed very strange and something didn’t seem right as they were trying to keep the dog away from people. When we got closer they dragged the dog off. I had my two dogs and just presumed they were doing it as she wasn’t good with other dogs. The dog seemed reluctant . She caught my eye because she is stunning. Myself and my partner thought that the people with the dog seemed very jumpy and almost shielding the dog out of site. This is why. I feel terrible but had no idea at the time. I know this won’t help but wanted to let you know.
