- Had a very quick word with Millie's owner this morning. Millie has been to the vets for a check , she is ok ,very thin ,so it looks as though she had been on the run all the time she was missing. Owner is so relieved & happy to have her back & is just going to keep her warm in her own little knitted coat & gradually feed her up.Wishing both Millie & owner a speedy recovery from this ordeal. - Barnet is quite a big place, there is High Barnet and New Barnet, and a fair number of green spaces. It would help to know the road she went missing from please.

- Its always worth checking the dog that has been found, vets often do not know certain breeds of dog or its the nurses/receptionists that deal with the admin lost and found, I should know because I worked at a vets, ask to see a picture just to be 100% sure Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Only just got on to computer. Thanks Jotty & Jayne. Had another call with owner late this morning. Millie spooked & got out of a friend's house & so is not in her own area. This was Monday lunch time.DWs,vets, rescues etc have been informed. Area searched & postered.I have given some advise re :scenting the immediate area that Millie went from.It could be that Millie has been taken in by someone ,there is a reward for her safe return.Owner is doing a lot of phoning around for coverage of Millie's disappearance.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- Aunt Stef - I have emailed you the contact details of the found dog that is listed on NPR (which was followed up in regards to Minx) so you can follow up/pass on to owner when you speak to them later again incase it could be Millie. Did Millie escape/run off or was she stolen?Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

- There is a similar dog logged as found on the National Pet Register. Please see the page for the other missing Min Pin, Minxie. It isn't her but might be Millie. Good luck!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
