Jackie - I'm really hoping you get national publicity in The Sun for your dear Poppy, along with all the other dogs that have been taken from their homes and owners, and that she is returned to you unharmed very soon.  Thinking of you.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jackie, You have done everything you can possibly do, especially with all the posters/leaflets etc. Our Greyhound 'Ranger' escaped from Penton Park in Cheshunt due to vandalism on the fencing, after much advertising, searching, phone calls etc. we were reunited with our boy on Christmas Eve. You will get her back, no doubt about it and if you need any help, please let us know and we will do all we can to help. We know how you must be feeling and it is dreadful but I'm positive she will return. We'll be praying for you (not religious but it helped us)! Fingers crossed. x      Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

There used to be a garden centre at the top of White Stubbs Lane, I don't know if they are still there.  If they are - have  you put a poster there?  Also what about local pubs - The Woodman in Wormley West End.  It may help - the more people that know she is missing, the more people will be looking out for her and hopefully she will be home soon.  I may be in Broxbourne Sunday afternoon, if you need any help looking for her.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

There is a dog training club in Bayford (only a couple of miles away), perhaps they could let members know.   They may even be able to help look for her.  Their secretary or chairman is Gwen Gibbs, who can be contacted on 01992  511247.   They meet at Bayford Village Hall, so that may be another place to poster.   Good luck.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi my name is Jackie it is my cousins dog that has gone missing thank you all so much for your help we really do appreciate it we have decided not to disclose her name on the posters or use the word stolen in case anybody who has her thinks that the police might be involved and hinder us getting her returned so we would appreciate anybody with earlier posters not using them for that reason we have offered a large reward i have today been phoning the groomers in the Hertford area and will try to get some local press coverage while other members of my family and friends are out postering she went missing very close to the paradise park area so as you know the location.  I will keep you all posted with regard to any news and thank you all again for being interested and good luck to all those of you in the same situationLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Could you e-mail posters, flyers on to me please.  Do I need to give you my e-mail or can you pick it up from my posting?  Sorry I am quite new to this.  My parents live in Broxbourne, and although they are too elderly to take part in any searches, I can ask them to poster for you.  Whitestubbs Lane leads into the woods at Broxbourne.  Did Poppy disappear near to the woods or nearer down towards the A10?  There are stables and Paradise Wildlife Park (www.pwpark.com)  up White Stubbs Lane, as well as Bayford Kennels (01992 511260), perhaps they could receive posters too. I will keep looking at this posting for any updates.  Hopefully Poppy will be safely home soon.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Poppy is missing from Whitestubbs Lane, Broxbourne. Owners were out and when they returned Poppy was missing. They had been left in the house but they do have a dog flap for access to the garden so its thought she got out that way somehow or was stolen from the garden. They have checked for holes round the edge and can't find any so its all a bit of a mystery. Dog warden, vets, Battersea, kennels all been informed and owners are out looking/postering now. Majorjet is kindly creating an A4 poster and flyers for Poppy so these will be available shortly for anyone who can help in the search.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
