No, this one has not been confused with Diesel. I have discussed this with Scruffy Dog, and the information given directly to Doglost has made it clear that this one is back with owner.

there was a black Staffy called Diesel who was indeed running along the A6 yesterday near Rushden, he was REUNITED, as far as I am aware, this Husky/Wolf dog was NOT reunited, it was bothering horses at a stable yard and ran off and nobody could see it again

I am wondering if this is correct. Could it have been mixed up with another dog loose on A6 that was a bulldog called Diesel that was reunited?. This one was seen heading towards the A6 same area? I hope it has been reunited but may not have been....
