- Great news! So pleased to hear that Scruff is back home, although he could have chosen a slightly more civilised time of day to return. But of course, the most important thing is that he is fit and well and now back at home with his family safe and sound. Thank you for sharing that lovely reunited photo - just look at the smiles on both their faces!!! Welcome home Scruff.

- e mail from owner:
Praise God! Our prayers were answered.
Scruff came home at 3.30am this morning and barked at the back door!!!
Very thin after 5 days, but couldn't believe how well he looked.
Didn't even look dirty! No obvious signs of any injuries - ran
upstairs to see his owner.
Thank you so much for all your help, emails, texts and the concern
that you have shown us. We are extremely grateful.
Please could you convey our thanks to the doglost community and say
congratulations to jnet on finding her dog - I was in tears last night
reading all the blogs. (sorry it's a pain not being able to post
comments) Account is now activated owner. Thank you for update.

Lost at 1.30pm Friday 9 Jan while going for a walk. Wearing a black harness. Hit by a car on Lutterworth Road, witness saw him run off- spent next 3 hours with 3 neighbours searching people's gardens and tracking his walking routes. When dark started leafleting houses with flier and phoned dog warden, kennels, vets, police, registered with Petlog for microchip, and other websites.
Today posted posters on lamp posts, in shops, walked round neighbourhood talking to people, postman, dog club.
This afternoon met witness had seen him hit by another car on Fri pm around 2pm at Crowhill shops and run off. Leafleted houses in that area. Phonecall at 4pm today - Scruff was seen in alley in Springfield Road at 9.30am Saturday and ran off. This evening leafleted all houses on Lutterworth Road.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18 - 2009-01-12 06:53 B30
- 10/01/09 post by Jnet. What does he look like coat wise because as we were looking for our dog on Newtown road Bedworth we saw a small scruffy terrier with a wirey double coat, kinda blue looked to have tan on face it was running along Newtown road towards A444 opposite the entrance to the slough. This could be nothing and at first we thought he was with a lady with another dog but he seem to leave her and head off aloneLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
