To everyone out there who has had a dog taken, never give up hope!
Sophie was taken from her forever home in April this year, she vanished without a trace. Today we were contacted by the pound to say that a dog called Sophie had been found tied to a gate in a field and brought to them. She had a microchip, she was our Sophie. For almost 7 months someone has had her, no one scanned her for a chip, no one made contact, she is underweight and has mange but she is alive and home. Thank you to the man who found her and thank you to carlow Kilkenny pound for caring for her. She is now back home, washed, fed and snuggled up with her family, where she should be.
PLEASE, PLEASE MICROCHIP YOUR DOGS, THIS IS PROOF THAT THEY ARE NECESSARY.

- Hi 2 Jack Russell terriers plus 2 other dogs found and placed in Ashton Pound but only fo 5 days. Please take a look. Difficult to see similarities from photo but you may recognise the face
