“ So proud to have worked with CCUK again to bring Storm home safely using CIT (Chemical Immobilisation Technology). Storm, a nervous rescue dog, was the subject of a storm in a social media 'power struggle' where Drone groups, Search and Rescue groups were deploying multiple drones and ground searchers serving only to jeopardise Storm's safety. Thankfully for Storm, his owner made the right decision to engage the CCUK professionals to bring Storm home. Disturbingly, during the capture planning stage, there were multiple attempts to derail the work of our professionals ranging from online bullying tactics, verbal abuse, attempts to discredit CCUK publicly, to giving false information designed to direct attention away from the key factor - Storm's safety and welfare! However, the team carried on their work in the face of adversity, and at 21:45 last night, the crucial dart was delivered and Storm's daily struggle on the thin boundary between life and death came to an end. Storm is now safe thanks to the professionalism of the CCUK Specialist Capture Team. Thank you to all who helped to make this operation a huge success. To those who sought to derail this process, remember, there is no stigma attached to elevating difficult cases to a higher skill level, and had CCUK been allowed to work on Storm's case without hindrance, he would have been brought to safety much earlier. “ end of quote.
