UPDATE 13TH MAY : Still no sightings of Toby. Still we search undergrowth, knock on doors, put up posters. It would be very bad luck if in the few minutes Toby was out of sight that he was picked up and taken away. We are asking the public to help us widen our search to the other side of the river to where he went missing, there are crossing places that he may have been able to swim or he may have gone via the bridge or Arley bridge - we have no idea but we are not discounting anything. Please keep sharing this post, still mention Toby to everyone you meet and still look out for a neighbour or dog walker who may have Toby not knowing he was a missing dog. https://www.google.com/maps/@52.3904942,-2.3302892,14z

Searches still ongoing. Concentrating on the area between The Lakes Road, Littleton Road, Ingram Play Park, Dowles Road, Grove Farm and Dry Mill Lane as well as the wider area of the forest. More leaflet drops to dwellings along the Dowles Road and Dry Mill Lane area.

Boniface - thank you for this idea. You don't know who has access to the locked gate that goes down to Coopers Mill do you ? Frank Chapman Centre were managing/using Coopers Mill at one point but we've been told they don't have access anymore. Also Update 3rd May 2021 is still no sightings today depsite ground searches.

I just wondered if it would be worth you putting some notes in letterboxes along Dowles Road asking people to check their perimeters. There are some large properties with long fence lines. I have just checked mine. I'm sure Toby will turn up soon. x

No confirmed sightings since Toby went missing on Wednesday. Volunteers and friends out on the ground all day scouring the length of Dowles Brook on both sides. If you are out and about in the general area over the weekend, please keep your eyes peeled and mention Toby to anyone you meet. All agencies informed, Forestry England Rangers too. Clothing and food station set up at Dry Mill Lane car park which Toby knows very well as he lives just up the road.

He will return to the car park if thats where you were parked, have someone wait in the car for him to return, leave an unwashed item of your clothing, or unwashed towel nearby
