Daisy may have felt "Under the weather" when she disappeared. It could be that she wanted to be left alone, as unwell (Sone cats do) Assume you checked all outbuildings at the tine she went awol? Always do further checks, as cats can stay very still, and quiet when trapped. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines so thy can squeeze into very small spaces (About 2"/3" wide) So has she managed to climb into a partially opened window, and is now trapped? Exiting can be difficult; it depends on the drop. Place a few light treats in her dish, and leave it alongside a clean container with her UNWASHED blanket inside, along with your scent too in a sheltered spot. Empty contents of the hoover on to the garden as her scent will be there, DO NOT leave her litter tray/box outside as other cats may use it, and it could confuse and upset the cat. Wipe her sent on all your garden fences; gates; doors too: anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy as it may attract her attention. Just because you can`t see a cat, it doesn`t mean they aren`t around. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Post in shops; post offices too. Consider posting a LOST cat ad in a National newspaper in case she has inadvertently climbed into a vehicle. Ask family, friends, and neighbours to share as well as DL. Twitter too. Is there a dominant cat in the area? As sometimes they will chase a less confident cat out of it`s own territory. However the chased cat will not return until the think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. And when searching at nightfall, take with you a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Paws xd.
