Thanks to everyone at DL who helped with the search, especially Jan who has been great, and whose posters and flyers really worked. Also thanks to everyone in the Thornham area who has helped. Sassy is now doing well at home, we are so relieved to have found her. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Pleased to hear you have been found Sassy.  Well done to "The Jack" who found you - maybe an extra treat for him/her.  Stay safe now in your new home.  Love and hugs to you X.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Brilliant news, over the moon she is home.  Have spoken to her happy owners she was found about 3/4 mile from home.  Due to the postering they were getting sightings, POWER of the POSTER working its magic.  Discussed getting Sassy CHIPPED and also TATTOOED.  Family will post an update a.s.a.p. they are letting everyone know she is home.  Well done to the finder who is a STAR and to his little JRT who located her.  Welcome Sassy and wishing family lots of luck and happiness to the future with her.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Carol, thanks for the phone call and updating Sassy's page.  Brilliant you are getting calls giving you sightings from the door to door delivery of the posters, you are doing the right things and getting the word out. Eunice well done for travelling to the area.  Fingers crossed she is back home with her new family.  Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I am Sassy's breeder. She is very nervous of strangers, particuarly men and would probably run if approached. She loves her food and will be very hungry by now so this would probably be the best way to approach her (with food). Let's all just pray hard that she will be found safe.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

She was spotted this afternoon near the Yew Tree Pub and actually followed a car down the lane, so we are searching that area now.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

A4 poster and smaller posters, SCENTING INSTRUCTIONS and further information emailed to owner.  Have discussed scenting with her owners.  Once posters start getting in the right areas fingers crossed we see little Sassey back home with her new family and in the BLUE.  Good luck.  Jan x If anyone is able to help with the postering please let us know and various size posters can be emailed to you.  Thanks xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Spoken to owner, Sassy has only been with them for 1 week.  Her breeder is travelling (2 hours away) to help search for her.  Sassy is very nervous of people.  She went missing from the Thornham/Royton area and has been spotted in Tandle Hill Park twice.  Photos now received and uploaded.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Carol55, sorry to see Sassy is missing.  What are the circumstances has she gone missing from home or on a walk?  Thanks for registering her details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  Can you please upload photo/s or email to admin@doglost.co.uk (QUOTE ID 16647) any problems with a photo let us know.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed once a photo has been added by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).    Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope she is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
