We’re appealing for help from the public following a burglary where a dog was stolen.
Bruce, a six-year-old Staffordshire bull terrier, was stolen from an address in Coombe Lane, Shepton Mallet overnight between Wednesday 5 May and Thursday 6 May. Nothing else was taken.
Bruce is black with a white belly and has bald patches on his side. He is a beloved family dog and is sorely missed by his owners.

Bruce was at home last night (5th of may) at 9:30pm, he was in the house and everyone else went to bed (unfortunately the back door was left unlocked). By 9am this morning (6th of may) he was completely missing.
His collar has been removed and left inside the property along side his lead.
Someone has came inside the house and physically taken him, no one has seen or heard anything since.
Please help get Bruce home 😢
He was last in coombe lane shepton mallet Ba4 area.
