- Update on Facebook:
YES, TOBY HAS BEEN FOUND!
Two dog walkers heard a dog whining early this morning and thank heavens decided to investigate and call for help. A whole group of people rushed to the scene. It was very close to where Toby originally went missing. The sounds came from high up on a very steep ridge covered in thick undergrowth. Some intrepid guys came to my help and managed to get up to the top where they discovered Toby entangled in his lead and in the undergrowth. I was shell-shocked. I never dared hope it was him. He is very thin and tired, but otherwise seems in amazingly good shape although I will take him for a vet check tomorrow. He has spent most of the day asleep, although he did go out for a short walk this afternoon. It is a miracle, but it is due to the help and support of Dog Lost, my brilliant friends, and all of the wonderful people on social media who have shared and shared and supported the search. I do not think he had been in that location for very long, perhaps only for a few hours. There is some suggestion that he may have been taken or kept somewhere, but that the outpouring on social media made him too hot to handle and he was dumped back near where he was found. So this is down to you wonderful people - thank you from the bottom of my heart! - 2021-05-24 08:58 Unknown

- Toby has been found very close to where he was lost, alive and well, although very thin and tired. I can't thank the Dog Lost team enough for all the help and support they have given over the last three and a half weeks. To all those who have lost a dog, NEVER GIVE UP HOPE.
