Fantastic, it was him, Louis is now safely home! Thank you to whoever the kind person was who found Louis and handed him in to the PDSA......and thanks once again to the Basildon Dog Warden!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Possibility that the dog warden picked Louis up yesterday after he was handed in to the PDSA. Matches the description I gave her of Louis. She has been in touch with owners and has since left a number of messages for them to call back as yet nothing. Owners if you are reading this please respond to the messages left for you or if not call me, you have my number. I will try calling you now on another number you rang me from yesterday. Hope to see Louis in the blue soon!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Louis is missing from the Vange area. Could possibly have tried to find his way back home to his owners house in Pitsea.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Louis is presumed to have escaped from his owner's cousins garden - he was there one minute, gone the next. Owner is actually away at the mo and he was staying with his cousin who has no photo of Louis and can't get into his cousins house to get one either. I am going to try and find a similar photo from our library of photos that we can use for the posters. Louis is a terrier cross, very small and fairly JRT like but with a broader head. He is mainly black, has white paws. He has some white and brown on his face. Have advised owners cousin to contact local council, vets etc which he will do first thing tomorrow and to poster poster poster! He has been out searching but nothing. A local shop said a man came in who said he'd found a black dog - so this could Louis - but he did not leave any details. Details of owner has now been left with the shop for when the man comes back (apparently he's a fairly regular visitor). Hopefully this man will report the found dog to the council tomorrow. I have alerted Basildon dog warden. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner, sorry to see Louis is missing.  Thanks for registering his details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.   Can you email photo/s to admin@doglost.co.uk (QUOTE ID 16701) any problems with a photo let us know.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible.  Posters can be printed once a photo has been added by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be registered and logged in).  What are the circumstances, has he gone missing from home or on a walk? Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Please update on who has been contacted, DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope he is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
