Rosanna, ask neighbours and locals ( via local FB groups etc) if anyone has any cctcv footage, ring doorbell or dashcam footage for the relevant day and time. Someone else may have details of the suspect car.
Also, re microchip, your vet may have the relevant details on Spliff's record. Joanx
