- As you believe that Garfield is still in the area, and being fed by someone. I would take walks around the area, taking with you his UNWASHED blanket; also wear the same deodorant say that you use on a day to day basis as he will recognize the scent, and your the one he trusts. Rattle some treats too. Try this when darkness falls, as you are more likely to find a missing cat. Also when searching take with you a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes, depending on the darkness when you are searching. Try a squeaky toy too, as it may attract his attention. When Garfield is home I would get him microchipped. Paws xd.Last edited: 2021-06-11 09:14:41

- Thank you Janie. Yes at the time they were. However, a couple of very close sightings has led us to believe he may be in the very close area to home, being fed by a lovely couple who worried he was a stray- owner following up tomorrow with them xx

- Assume posters were put up at the time Garfield went awol? I would post Garfield in a National newspaper in case he has climbed into a vehicle. Many cats do this. I would also ask family, friends and neighbours to share as well as DL. Twitter too. Paws xd.
