Thank u for the update and I agree with u - dogs are not just ‘found’ on the street they come from somewhere - we don’t have stray dogs as such - and the law is very clear on what u are supposed to do - we have a thing called the internet where u can look it up if u don’t know - sorry u went through this and glad she’s home where she belongs

Debbie123 ...here is what is on the link.
PeKa Update - 💕 PLEASE SHARE to help this stop happening!!!
good morning everyone who has been messaging - texting- ringing to welcome PeKa back and enquiring where she had been and how on earth we got her back home
Well I thought you would appreciate knowing what we know and I hope in me doing so it can be shared again as far as possible to ensure this never happens again and will make people think twice before ‘keeping’ a dog that isn’t theirs !!!!!
And it will encourage anyone who has had their dog taken to never give up hope either 🙏 !!
Apparently !! the couple who had her said they ‘found’ her on our Lane - however, they didn’t knock on any houses to ask if it was their dog or ask did they know where she belonged
- they didn’t take the puppy to the police for help
- they didn’t take her to a nearby vets to be scanned for a microchip so she could be returned to us
- they didn’t take her the RSPCA
- and they didn’t put anything on FB stating they had this puppy !!!! Strange hey !!!!! Mmmmm !
Instead - they drove off with her to their home. Their home is approx 1/2 an hour from our home - they live in Newcastle under Lyme.
They have 2 children and a male dog - so they should of understood how distressing it must of been for the real owners of the puppy to have had her taken !
They did nothing - they even gave her a name ! But her name is PeKa and she is ours!!!!
I believe the fact that I made our PeKa ‘too hot to handle’ is the only reason she is now home safe - it is because decent people like you shared my many pleas for help - it is because of the power of social media she is here with us now. 💕
Nobody absolutely nobody has the right to drive off with an animal that does not belong to them!
Anybody with good intentions would of done everything to find out where the dog lived !
Anybody with good intentions wouldn’t of let their children become attached to a dog they didn’t own !
Anybody decent would not of acted in this way!
So to anybody who is still missing their precious dog - I am sad for you - but my first bit of advice is don’t give up hope - make it impossible for the people who took your dog to keep or deal or breed them
Remember children will talk to teachers - friends and family and neighbours would ask awkward questions - so use FB like I did to try to reduce this type of dreadful thing happening- there needs to be more laws / rules out there too.
I thought all you lovely decent beautiful people would appreciate my update and I know you will understand why I have used FB to give my opinion as I want people like this to be ashamed of their actions and to never do it again - the pain and stress they caused is unforgivable.
I will be taking PeKa to be checked by the vets in a few days - just giving her time to settle and feel safe again - and I’m rebooking her pamper with Nicola Mahar ASAP -
Aston and PeKa are so happy to be together again - and our grandchildren will now be able to visit as we have kept them away since she was taken as they would of been heartbroken 💔
Pete and I are delighted and I want to thank our two amazing daughters Melissa-Jo Lawson for saying about children and schools and for Daniella Stuchberry who spent hours walking streets with me and Brett Kenyon searching for her - and Daniella drove all the way from her home (over hour journey) last night to Newcastle upon Lyme to bring our puppy home 💕
Thank you all
