Molly's owner came forward, she was lost the night before I picked her up. There was no reason for the condition she was in unfortunately too much time had passed and her body could not be retrieved for evidence.I am grateful she was comfortable in her last days and thank the kind woman who found her and thank you all for your kind comments.

This lovely girl was called MOLLY by Sarah, the Dogwarden, who cared for her during Molly's last few days.  Thank you Sarah.  See Valgrays Memorial Candles.

This is so sad, after she had been offered a kind, loving home too. I love collies and they so often have hard lives. Not any more for this girl. Go and find my girl Fly you'll have fun together!

i have cried so much to nite over this little ole lady, at least she is now in gods hands.....i have lit a candle on our website for her and if anyone else would like to do this at least she wil know how much we cared......always in my heart.....:o(

This is so sad, at least her last few days she knew kindness and love, sleep in peace you beautiful girl. Very sad for the wonderful people who found you and brought you to a place of safety, Im thinking of them x

Sadly this girl did not make it and is now at Rainbow Bridge. After having really perked up - wagging, enjoying her walks, happy - from when she was first found, she suddenly went downhill yesterday. The vet believes she had untreated diabetes or another chronic illness as well as some worrying lumps in her stomach......it was decided that the kindest and right thing for her was to be put to sleep. So she is now at Rainbow Bridge, painfree and happy once again. Thanks to the dog warden and kennel staff she saw some love and compassion in the last few days of her life.......something it would seem her 'owner' failed her on. Many thanks to Val, your kind offer was much appreciated by all.

Thanks so much Val, that is a lovely kind offer. I will contact the dog warden tomorrow and let her know and also find out how the dog is doing. Unfortunately she took a turn for the worse earlier today so was going back to the vets this afternoon. Fingers crossed for her. x
