HORACE THE BOSTON TERRIER IS SAFE
After 4 very long days - Horace is safe back with me. The area we had to cover was so vast, over 1600 acres of farmland filled with very high crops. Tilly’s Angels have been utterly amazing, if it wasn’t for them and my friend Emma Lingley I wouldn’t have him back. They literally did everything for me, set up all the Facebook stuff, coordinated everything. All these people are volunteers, with jobs and families, so the fact they turn up and get to work is incredible.
Within minutes of him going missing Tilly’s people were in ditches on there hands and knees crawling through brambles, and god knows what else. This episode has restored my faith in humanity. I have to really thank all my friends that came out to search the sea wall and surrounding areas, night after night. Plus poster for me. The heat was brutal. Thank you to all the complete strangers and fellow Boston owners that reached out to me too.
I especially want to thank:
K9 Solutions for their time and coming out twice with their scent dog, to picks up Horace’s scent.
Emjay Visual Arts, the chap with the drone, he literally came out immediately after chatting to me on the phone.
And Holly Tomlinson and her friend for being adamant that they saw something in a field, that made us change our plan.
He’s currently with the vets, he needs to be stabilised and have X-rays.
HE’S HOME!!!! AND THATS ALL THAT MATTERS!!!!!!!!!! - 2021-06-18 20:55 Majorjet (Jan) - Area Co-ordinator - Liverpool/Merseyside, North West

- I know his Breeder who has posted a MISSING post on fb with an Extra photo which will add to the Extra Image box. He is also MICROCHIPPED and details are up to date.
CROSS POSTED some of the missing post by Breeder:
Missing Boston male...
He was walked on the seawall in the Barling area of Rochford, Essex Monday, 14/06/21 and went missing approximately 2pm.
He went cross country and was struck by a car, then fled back into farmland. So far they’ve covered all the local vets, dogs lost, local Facebook groups etc. The insurance company and microchip service have been alerted. His microchip details are up to date too.
The sad thing is Kirsty has had a scam caller and funnily enough she had heard about scammers for missing dogs on the radio a couple of months ago so knew the script they would use which was a blessing…….. - 2021-06-15 17:32 ADDY
