What a shame. I often call in here hoping there is news. Thanks to Ashmark for sending matches forward. Perhaps we need some media coverage - not sure whats been done, but quite a distinctive little girl, and could be easily recognised. Its got to be worth a go. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Text from owner That's an almost identical dog you sent me pictures of yesterday but the dog appears to have brown on it's tail which Rio didn't have. Thanks for still trying.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owners have been out searching all weekend but have not found Rio. There have been no more sightings. Have advised them to widen the search.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Ashmark cannot get on line tonight but has been in touch with some information. Rio is a Parsons Jack Russell, and has gone missing on a walk in a field she is not familiar with. Owners are doing really well and have got most of the residents of two villages helping with the search. There have been two sightings, one on Tuesday and the other on Wednesday. The area has been scented and bedding and food have been layed down. Owner is very grateful, and wishes to thank everyone for their help. Come on Rio - show yourself again. Its too cold for a little one out there. Stay safe until we find you.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Photo split and re-loaded. Posters of Rio can be printed from her page by clicking on DOG POSTER 1 above dogs details boxes. You need to be logged in properly to do this. If owner is reading this, it is possible Rio has gone down a rabbit hole, but will find her way out in a few hours. If she has been walked out from home, and will know her way back, please leave the gate, or way open for her to return, with some bedding by the door. If she has been driven to the area - please leave something with owners scent, such as an article of worn clothing near to where she has gone missing from. Hopefully this will help to keep her in the area. You will also need to poster the area widely as quickly as possible. Place all posters inside plastic sleeves to protect  from the rain. Inform all dog wardens, on adjoining councils, police, dog pounds, and vets, just in case she is just loose.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
