Hi ive found a JackRussel in Barrowford with a bad back leg, tried ringing but cant get through
lynn
Also he is a full JRT bt when I registered him it would only let me put choose cross. Ive tried changing it but the drop down box wont show anything and it just keeps overridding.x The pictures show him so im sure that wont make a difference anyway. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hello there, just had a look at 'dogs found' noticed Dog ID 16851 found in east anglia, possibly stolen and dumped, is there any chance this could be Maddock ? Temprement just like his, description a bit unsure. We work on a farm and get a lot of foreign lorry drivers delivering and we did fear he may have somehow ended up further away. x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thankyou all sooo much for the help so far and comments, it's so nice to see that people do care. Unfortnately i'm having to use my works email and we have had problems with it so anything sent has not been recieved, if it's not too much trouble would you be able to re-send again. We heard on the local radio last week that there was a dog wandering on the motorway nearby matching his discription...we all rushed down and spent hours searching the area to eventually find it was not our dog. We were so sure it would be, had a good cry. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I'm sorry to see Maddock is missing he looks a real sweetie !!  As previous people have mentioned posters are essential in helping to reunite owners.  Get as many out as possible.  Give them out to your local postmen and ask if they will put some up in the sorting office / bin men  /courier delivery people. Vets etc are great but also  get some up in fish and chip shops as they are generally great at sticking a poster up on your behalf ----customers  DO look at them as they are waiting. It may sound banal, but it's so true and there are generally lots of local people frequenting them too.   Anyone out and about daily is a useful person to keep an eye out. Also, keep checking with the local stray kennels regularly.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Welcome on board Lynn and thanks for posting on his page.  No probs with the photo/s I've reloaded the closer pic and put your headshot on Image box 2.  I will incorporate the headshot later today in his full body pic, too late now as it is 12.30 a.m.  You can print the posters now as instructed in my first post.  Good luck  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thankyou sooo much for helping with the picture I have just managed to find a close up. We are trying to stay positive, he's the first dog we have had, known as a 'cracking' dog by everyone, very friendly. The children miss him so much. Put up posters in the local area. all vets, police and wardens are aware of him missing and local school, butchers..the busy places..its a small village and everyone knows him....so unfair. x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Lynn, sorry to see Maddock is missing.  Thanks for registering his details on DL and uploading a photo (have reloaded to bring closer).  We will do all we can to help you in your search.   You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).    Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope he is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
