TRULY IS HOME ! She had made her way through woods & ended up on a golf course where the groundsmen collected her up & took her to the equine centre in the same area, where there are other similar dogs, thinking that this was where she had escaped from. There is also a agricultural college next to the equine centre & the students looked after Truly until the DW came to collect her.Truly's owners had postered extensively & someone in the local pub had seen the poster there & called Truly's owner about where she was.Truly had to spend the night in the kennels at Woking but thankfully after many phone calls she is now re united with her very relieved owners. Truly is fine just very tired after her adventure !! Welcome home little one. Love Steph xx  Thank you Teddys Mum & lappy for you helpful comments here.Any help like this makes so much difference to owners of lost dogs at a time when you just don't know where to start.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Terriers are notorious for chasing a scent. Quite likely she will just turn up again. Put some food down near the break in the fence to entice her back. Put pilchards on the top. The smell travels for miles Good luck...judy

I have just spoken to Truly's owner. We now have a photo up on site & so posters can be put up. Truly got out through the garden fence chasing a fox. It could be that someone has taken her in .Hopefully with the DW's,all vets & rescues in the area informed some news will come through quickly.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
