I am soooooo pleased Molly is home, I was really worried about her! Well done Dee, thanks for all your help and for letting us know. You worked hard and got the result.....spreading the word and posters does it again. Clever girl Molly finding some nice dog people and well done finders for taking Molly in. Shame the same praise can't be given to the council eh'! Welcome home Molly. xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oops, sorry, forget about a chip (since she already has one - well done for that!) but can Molly still have a nice, new shiny ID tag to replace her old one?!

I'm so very pleased to hear that this gorgeous senior girl is back home safe and sound. And what luck that such a lovely and caring couple 'found' her (or did Molly find them!). Just loved the reunited story - thank you for sharing that with us. All that is left to say, is may this very precious girl have a chip and an ID tag on her collar as a welcome home present? Wonderful news!!!

Message received. Hi! Wonderful, wonderful news?Molly has been re-united with her family. She had apparently made her way to the other side of town, where a kind young couple had taken her in! They are Greyhound owners and she followed them home apparently, not that they had their dog with them at the time but molly must have ?sensed? they would help her. It was a weird set of circumstances that led us together: I work as a Lolly-pop lady on the other side of town and happened to mention to a mum that molly was missing, started to describe her and the mum finished off the description!!!!! She said that she had seen Molly with this young couple the other day and they were asking dog-walkers if they knew of anyone who had lost a dog! It gets weirder, after work I went over to the area where she had been seen and spoke to several dog-walkers but none had seen her or the couple. I put up the last 2 posters I had and decided I would go back tomorrow again. Trudging thro? the snow back to the car my fone rang. It was the ?finders?. They had been tipped off about the likeness of the dog they?d found and molly on the posters I had put up around our side of town. A relative who attends our local college had seen the poster. Wow! I?m still on a high, all these little things led to a Very Happy ending ? Something that made me really mad though was the DOGWARDEN! My friend phoned them on Monday and yesterday to enquire about dogs found and to report Molly?s prolonged disappearance ?. The finders phoned in between and were told that NO ONE had reported a dog missing!!! FOR HEAVENS SAKE the system is failing us grrrr Anyway sorry for the long-windedness of this but thought you might like to know how things progressed?. Also could you please put Molly?s name in the ?re-united? section please? My hopes and thoughts go out to all those other doggies and their owners out there that they too will soon be re-united!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Ah, nice to see the lovely photos of Molly on site. Thanks Taz for helping owners out. Molly went missing (escaped out front door) in the early hours, from St Johns Rd, Chelmsford off Moulsham Drive. Worringly there is an alleyway that leads towards the old A12. But I understand someone helping them (I think thats you isn't it Taz?!) has checked out with the Highways and thankfully no reports so hopefully Molly has been taken in by a kind person who has not yet rung the authorities. Spoke to Molly's owner but his wife was doing the ringing round etc so also left my number with him for her to call me once she's home if needed. A friend (Taz?!) sounds like they are really helping making sure all the right places are contacted and sorting a poster to put up but will know more once spoken to his wife.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
