Awww super to see this girl in pictures but pleased to say I met her in person last Saturday as I pulled up to the hotel at Peterborough services with my own SBT got chatting with the transport lady and got the story , put my boy in the car and had a cuddle , she is a beauty and so pleased she has made her way back home , everyone involved in this has done a great job and I take my hat off to all of you

Wonderful news. So pleased Ellie made it back home to her mum. Well done to all involved especially the rescue centre that scanned her and to all the lovely people who helped to transport her back home from Fife to Bere Regis.

Worthy of a bump. Jared's mum took Ellie to Peterborough yesterday, I have not been able to speak to her directly but jayniem (Scottish Rescue Tails) who organised the transport reports that Ellie has been a very good girl and further transport is now taking her home. We will update later with reunited photos. Both have refused donations so far but we will not let them leave empty handed.

Hopefully the journey is underway, I have spoken to jayniem again today regarding donations towards fuel costs but was not able to talk her into giving me details. I will try again tomorrow if I am lucky enough to meet at the reunion. Fingers crossed that Ellie will at last be back where she belongs this time tomorrow.

I have just visited the address on the chip, resident kindly called the previous occupied who is related to Ellie's owner and now has the contact number for the kennels where Ellie is being looked after.

Chip details confirm that the girlie in Fife is Ellie. Unfortunately the contact numbers are out of date but we will do all we can yo trace the owner. If anyone reading this please can you ask her to call admin on 08448003220.
Ellie has been well looked after, she is in good condition and just wants to be cuddled all the time.

Sorry but not Ellie. Kennels sent photo to phone, forwarded to Ellie's owner as she has no internet access. She has just replied to say not Ellie but has had possible sighting of her in the Poole area so is going to start postering again. She has reported it to the police but they cannot do anything without evidence.

Up date:   Rochdale rescue have confirmed their dog has a scar in same place and responds to the name Ellie with excitement. Photos being sent directly to owners. Fingers crossed.

Merymut, well done for being so observant. Last night my friend on the RDR team rang me to tell me about the dog which the police brought in, and I told the DL team - and we saw you had just picked up a possible match. Photos are being sent and details exchanged so I expect we will know fairly soon whether or not this is the same dog.

The dog with RDR is still in the pound and won't come into our care until her pts date, 10th March, we will then transport her to kennels and safety so she will not be pts.   We will try and get the pound to check to see if she has a scar, if not, the wonderful girls at our holding kennels will check.

Owner of the dog does not have computer access. Possible white van involved in the theft . One seen acting sus. in area . Please keep your dogs safe in Dorset and dont leave dogs unattended.

Sorry to hear that Ellie is missing, sounds like she has been taken, I live 5 miles away Nr. the Springfield Hotel in Stoborough. I shall keep a sharp eye out when I am walking my dogs. Hope you get some news soon. If I can help ?

I have spoken to owner. Dog wardrens and police informed. Ellie was tied up outside a village shop for awhile Saturday evening between 6.30 & 7.00. The lead was still there but Ellie had gone. She is a very friendly dog.
