Just wanted to say although microchipping is great it's not infallible and has let me down twice, once with a cat that was knocked down and taken by a passer by to the vet where I tracked him down 4 days later. His chip didn't show up. Just a few weeks ago I had the dog warden down to scan a dog I found and to double check her scanner was working she scanned my four. 3 worked but the fourth also doesn't show up.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Lurcher Link
I've got photos but I can't get them on the site for some reason. I've been trying for ages but it doesn't accept them (they're jpgs). If someone wants, I can send them by email and you can have a go? Alternatively have a look on Lurcher Link Lost and Found:  http://www.lurcherlink.org/llink/forum/viewtopic/.php?t=42843  It's def not the Patt x bitch (14931) and I've no idea who treacle is, so can't comment on that, but I've scanned her and she's not 'chipped.

TreaclePretzel
Is she deffinitely not micro-chipped? Maybe it's dear Treacle and she escaped from the thief... but Treacle is chipped...
