Great news! We’re pleased to report that two Doberman dogs, which disappeared from a property near Gloucester earlier this week, have now been found.
Bear and Poppy were suspected stolen from a farm on the outskirts of the city after last being seen on Wednesday (1 September).
Earlier this evening (Saturday 4 September), both dogs were spotted in the Painswick area by members of the public, who had seen the appeal on our Facebook page. They were able to keep the dogs safe until officers arrived at the scene.
The dogs will now be reunited with their owner. We would like to thank all those who shared our appeal and particularly the members of the public who found them.

Police are appealing for information following the disappearance of two Doberman dogs from a property near Gloucester.

It was reported that the dogs were last seen on Wednesday evening and have now gone from the outhouse of a farm in Walham near Over, which is on the outskirts of Gloucester.

The dogs are described as being a male and female Doberman who are black and tan in colour. Pepper, the female dog, is two-and-a-half years old and Bear, the male dog, is three years old.

Police are asking anyone with information or who witnessed suspicious activity in the area to please get in contact.
