I am so very sorry to read this news, I've been looking at those beautiful appealing eyes and hopeing she'd be home soon, she looks so much like my girl.As you say at least she had an adventure, and now running with all our lovely dogs at the bridge.

So sorry that your dear girl Jazz never made it home, as you said at least you had closure and she is now at rest with you and the rest of her doggie famiy.  R.I.P. you lovely girl.  Kind Regards Julie

Had a phone call from mother to say her farmer son had found a dog in his field on 07/02/09. Contacted him to be told dog was dead , described dog + collar, he told us where he had put body by oak tree in hedge. Went out at 10pm, found body and yes it was Jazz. Found bout 2 miles from home. At least no more worrying. She had one last adventure! Closure - at last. Not the outcome I would have preferred but at least she is home and burried with her sis, mom + gran in our garden.

Rang Som Standard as article was to be reposted as mob no was wrong in ad last week. No show in todays paper, rang, told on website and will be in next weeks paper!!!  Will be in Fossway Mag tomorrow. Rang Happy Landings SM no joy. Printed more posters for posting. Checked + will replace some older posters (weathered).

Still no calls on the whereabouts or sightings of Jazz.  She was seen near where she went on the night she disappeared, and 8 a.m. next morning then nothing.Suggested heavy media now in case she has been taken in.

Have rung Mendip DW for update. DW will ring me back.(Highways dept contact DW if collect from roadside).  Rang Heavens Gate Langport and Claverton Bath. No luck.

Spoke to owner this evening, had a fruitless visit to a rescue.  Never mind we will keep on looking for Jazz and get her home asap. Suggested she go into the Fosseway Mag  this week.

Thanks Ashmark. Owner has contacted DW, vets and rescues and postered around her home.  Given advice on postering further afield.  Jazz went missing out of the garden possible under a gap in the fence.  She does not look her age.  There were 4 sighting all the day she went, first in St John Road, Frome, then Rodden Road Garage, Beechwood ave and Ashtree Road at 10.30 at night.  Owner has returned to familiar walking place and left article of clothing.  No calls at all since then.  She is in the paper this week too.  Now been 9 days and this is an elderly dog any help appreciated. Waiting for photo then will put on site.
