HI ALL
shamrock is doing so well ! bless him he came and woke me up with a ball ready to go out for his morning walk :)  i dont think he fells the pain he is in ! his pads r very worn (hence the limp ) hes eating ok ish but he has never been 1 to eat much any way (wel unless its the cats or mine ) he is a sleep most of the time untill i move then he up and trying to come with so looks like im not moving for a bit !

Out looking where he had been spotted and rang Steph about a sighting and she had just got back home with him - found sitting by her car - absolutely brilliant, I'm so pleased - she did a fantastic job as did Laura, WELL DONE GUYS, sure she'll let us have the whole story when she can.

hi all shamrock here i would just like to say thank u so so so much for helping look for me i know i was being silly , i saw mums car and thought its time to go home so sat next to it and cryed untill she come back i ran up to her and give her a big big kiss coverd her in mud but i dont think she minds to much im very very sleepy and my leg is a lil sore and i could do with a bath but mum said i have to wate a bit but so so happy to be home dont worry im still the same eat the cats food as i come in and got on mums bed so im going to say night and i prom never every to ran away agen _________________________________________________________ thank allllllllllll so so so so much u have been such a help to me i will never every for get it and if i can every help u plez plez let me know im going to leave the posters up in hope that some one phones to say they have seen the other one agen thank u al soooooooooooooo much xox

hi all just got in from hackwood rd area
ive seen him and he has a limp :( on his back legs he seems to b going around the same bit sorry i dont know the rds but i will be back up ther in a bit and get the rd names !
he is going anlong a bank running along the motor way up pastd the duck pond and back out to the mane rd he will not come to me at all he see me and runs off its hart bracking ! plez plez if any one has 5 mins plez can u go up there and have a look we have lost site of him but i think may b he has found some were to have a lil sleep cuz he is quikee slow not that slow we can get him but slow x

morning all
just a lil update i have put up about 50 posters and have 30 odd more to put up to day i also have 200 odd bring printed today so they should b up to night the poster have started to work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i had a call last night at 1159 by a lorry driver to say that he had seen my posters (deanshill) by the mars blinding not last night the night before he saw shamrocking working about up and down  the rd he did get out and whissall him but he just stood and looked at him than walked off (this would b like shamrock as he is very very friendley but men r not his best friends )   the man lives in southamton and works nights in and out of that astae so thats y no one was called that night but he see the posters and thought he would call me just to let me know , i aksd him to phone b back if he see him at all last night but he did not so im hoping shamrock found a hole and was sleeping i can not remaber if i have told u all this or not but i did get a call yest from a lady that also said she was not 100% but she is sore she see him on the ring rd just as u come up from danes hill ,she was going down towaords town and he was on the other side she said 2 cars did stop and she did see some try to get him but she is not sore that they did get him or if he ran off agen im also hoping that this means he is staying up there and that it was not him in hach , i have tryd to get hold of the lady that sent a message to say she had seen him yest but she dont seem to wont to talk she is a friend of a friend and they dont seem to be able to get any thing out of her every i aksed her if i was ok to leave some thing of mine by her home she said yes but has not as yet told me orther than the rd she lives in :( i was also thinking last night about shamrock and that y may b no 1 seems to be able to get him is a big brave dog NOT he likes to think he is but if he was to walk pasted e.g a hover and it fell over he would run to me or run to his bed his mum is the same and so r his bros and sis im going to also put his blanket over danes hill in the hope this will keep him around there  im not sore its a good thing to do or not but it has to better then nowt any way lets hope to day is the day that both G:S r found :) and 1s agen thank u so so so much 4 all your help and i know sham would b happy to if he was not being a lil git xox

have got the posters so they will b going up tonight i have droped some off at the gala bingo hall 10000s of pep go there, loads of shops now just got to do the path e.c.t oh i had a call form a lady who said she had seen a dog on the ring rd by the aa place a car had stoped but she did c if they got the daog and could not say 100% it was him that was last night 09/02/09

Just spoken with owner - scented clothing has been left at the house where he was seen this morning, Scenting and general instructions being sent to owner via email.  The dog warden has called them to say that there is another Black and Tan GSD loose in the same area, I have suggested that once we know the other one's details that the owners can help eah other

Driven around areas Shamrock was seen yesterday - Steph you need to get posters up asap as didn't see any - gave posters to The Barn Animal Hospital in Old Basing, postman in Daneshill, lots of security guards at entrances to industrial estates, streetsweepers and loads of dog walkers, guys who work on the Industrial Estate behind MFI (but they were aware already but now they have contact number) obviously all will keep a look out.  There are lots of places he could be holed up - can go out again tonight if not back by then BUT GET THOSE POSTERS UP and contact local radio stations/papers.

hi all i have just got this message on my way there now !
  I think i might have seen him. A dog matching the photo was sat on my doorstep but when i opened the door he ran off, i did try to follow the dog but i could not find the dog. But i live in hatch warren ! But he did have some white stuff on his ear , i could not tell which one.
I hope you find him and i will keep an eye out for him.

hi mally was found at the back of mfi in chinham the rail way runs up the back of it if u drive in to the astate were mfi would b on your lefted go past it than u can go up beside it and you will see a glass place um unsore as to what it is called u go arond the back of that and thats were they were shamrock would not be cort hence he still out there some were :( yestaday he was seen by the mars billding , then on wichester rd un sore as to were and then agen on the hackwood rd agen un sore as to were i walked up down every rd all across the parks e.c.t and agen i could not fine him we live in lyford rd south view so he is not far from home he just needs to get this side of the railway i have had no calls today :( i am trying to do the posters right now but every time i sit down to do them i seem to get a call he been seen agen (poster i will b putting all over basingstoke) i have spoke to every vet with in 5 miles of basingstoke aksed every one i have seen out to keep an eye open for him emailed 2 ten fm thank u all so so so much for trying to help me gives me some hope of finding him we r all missing him so much his mum is our family dog to so he is very very speshal to us agen thank u all so much and i hope u will b calling me soon to say u have him xox

Spoken to owner this morning - she came home to find front door open and both dogs gone, Mally was picked up by DW in Southview yesterday.  Shamrock was seen firstly in Daneshill area, then Winchester Road and yesterday evening in Hackwood Road, no sightings this morning as yet.  Advised owner to get as many posters as possible up so more people aware, contact highways guys, her partner works for the railways so that's covered, take posters to the dump and ask the bin men to keep eyes open - I'm off now to have a mooch around, fingers crossed this chap is home soon

Can you be a little more detailled on where Mally was picked up from and where you have postered, there are helpers on the Biggsd site who may be able to help in the search but need more details. If you can leave a piece of Shamrock's bedding or a worn item of your clothing in a safe place near to the sightings - if he can pick up on your scent then he may stay put and wait for you.

ive been up to taylors farm today to look but no sign. where abouts did he go missing from? i drove around chineham and didnt see a single poster. im more than happy to put some up. have you phoned the dog wardens and vets spoken to the workman in the area? where abouts was the mally found ? shamrock may not be far from there.

Owner, sorry to see Shamrock is missing.  Thanks for registering his details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  Great you have uploaded a photo.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible and, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).    Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope he are found soon.  Jan x
