- sstorr.. Last Sunday morning, the 19th September, I was out on my group dog walk at Lea Valley Country Park, the Waltham Abbey End, Enfield is only couple miles away. I came across a man walking a dog on a lead who looks very similar to Mason, he pulled to one side to let us all pass and I stopped for a brief chat with the man and offered the dog a couple of treats, which he refused. I noticed this staffie was larger than the normal staffie with a very large head. I mentioned this to the man and he said "that's because he is a cross staff", when I asked crossed with what, he replied a mastiff. The dog was not interested in treats and looked very depressed and sad. Something is telling me that this dog could well be Mason, its just a weird feeling I have
