- i am too far to get out and help you sorry. put as many posters up as you can as quickly as possible, contact the dog warden vets and rescue centres.........also local kennels.......get as many places as you can to display posters... make sure you offer a reward... put them up everywhere... poo bins.. pet shops..supermarket/retail park carparks...schools..leisure centres.. bus stops...train stations.... you can never ever put up too many posters... they are what will get you the sightings and eventually get you dog home!!!!. get an advert in the local paper with a photo make sure you offer a reward put it in the lost and found pets section. take your binoculars out if searching fields and take another lurcher type dog if you can.. all this will help... take really smelly food with you... cat food is great or sardines...pilchards etc...the smell will carry for miles. good luck xx Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
