Agreed! Phoenix57. Just saddened that this is the way we have to live our lives. I always warn new people to the area or find myself standing near dogs that are tied up until the owner comes back, solely because of the way things are. I am from Cornwall and can still remember a world where we did leave doors unlocked, and not just dogs but horses tied up outside the village shop, probably all gone now too. But def agree its the way we have to be now.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

To some people dogs are just a way to make money or just another  accessory they want, so will think nothing about stealing them. Please tell anyone you know who leaves their dog outside shops what can happen.

You can't leave them tied up unattended anywhere !!! You wouldn't leave your bag, or bike, or a child unattended, nor would you leave your car or your house unlocked.

I was so pleased to know dear little Polly is back home safely. What a world where you can't leave a dog tied up outside a shop, BUT YOU CAN'T! not around Cambridge any way!Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Poor little Polly, hope you have informed Police and got a crime no.  You need to urgently poster area as much as possible, you can download & print off poster here by clicking on Dog Poster 1 top left of Polly's page.  Contact Dog Warden at your local council and all Kennels.  Send posters to all vets, get them up in pubs, bookies, shops and all public places.  I hope Polly is returned to you very soon.
