She may go to Oakenshaw-Wakefield, Springfield-Ossett,
Mount Pleasant-Hampole. or a Sheffield pound- whichever is nearest. Have you also rung SouthYorkshire Lost & Found?? Most of the local rescues & pounds are known to us & some of them will look for missing dogs. That said please dont rely on it. Ring them daily There's still a chance she is in the area - Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Pam,  yes I would have been phoning the wrong number then and am glad to see it has been amended on site now !  Do keep up with the postering as we need to raise as much public awareness as possible. Do keep checking with the stray kennels  too ! Dont rely on anyone to contact you as the chip CAN get missed !! Pam xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Speak to the guys on the Bryant/Wimpey site, they may have seen her, also poster up at Argo Feeds. I know some of the places via work, Cecil Penney isnt too far & quite busy petrol station. Barnsley Dog Warden covers that area as far as I know & they will scan & take to kennels probably over this way.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

A4 Posters and smaller ones emailed to owner and NE Co-ordinator's.   Pam once the posters start getting circulated and in the right place fingers crossed you get the phone call you are waiting for and are able to get there quickly.   Sometimes dogs are picked up and the finder does not know they should report them to the DW etc.  Use the smaller posters to deliver to houses in the area and handout to people you see so they have the details to hand.  Have also emailed you some further advice to help you in your search.  Good luck.  Jan x If anyone is able to help with the postering please let us know and we can email the various size posters to you.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Pam sorry to see Saffi is missing, thanks for registering her details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  Great you have uploaded a photo (I reloaded to bring her closer).  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).   Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.  Great she is Chipped do contact the Chip Co to report her missing and that your details are up to date. Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope she is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
