Great spread in the Herne Bay Gazzette-almost 3/4 page. Already the owners have had 2 sightings reported in to them-The latest being just around the corner on Monday just gone-I am sure they will get more sightings as the day goes on.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Great! the coverage will bring some leads! Paying money to get your dog back is a con-but the people know you will pay and that the police do not want to know-it is more common than you think-unfortunately.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jayne, an article on Charlie, including a photo will appear in this Thurday's Issue. My daughter, and both my husband and I, were out again today searching for dear Charlie. I was angry to hear on our travels of another little Yorkie having been picked up in our area by a woman with two other Yorkies then taken home. The man who owned the Yorkie found out where this Yorkie was, but the woman wouldn't give him back his dog until he paid her, which he did and now has his Yorkie back home. I'm afraid I don't know exactly where this woman lives except to say that I was told she lived on a housing estate in Herne Bay called 'Greenhill'. I'm hoping I hear from someone about Charlie once article in the Herne Bay Gazette comes out. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, I am continuing to search for Charlie. Today I have contacted Radio Kent who have broadcast that he is missing. Plus, thanks to Jayne, the local paper (The Herne Bay Gazette) are to add a piece in this weeks issue. Both Jayne and Justine have given me so much help and support. Justine has been in constant contact with me, having provided posters, and distributed them in our local area of Whitstable, whilst I have distributed lots in Herne Bay. Many thanks to all for your kind words. I am continuing to hope Charlie is safe and well. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi Opal, I'm sure you must be so worried, but someone could well have taken Charlie in having found him wandering. As soon as posters are up you will hopefully have some luck. Its amazing that some people don't think to phone the police or dog warden when they find a dog and instead take it home and 'love it to bits'. Good luck and put as many posters up as humanly possible - they really do work! Sorry I don't live nearer or I'd be there to help.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, Thank you for your words of support at a time I need them most. I have contacted the local ambulance service, and found the driver who saw Charlie ( Charlie had already been sighted earlier in the same area. My main worry is that the latest sighting was very close to a busy main road.. (Thanet Way) I just hope and pray Charlie is safe. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hello Mrs Young, I hope you found the information helpfull with the numbers etc. I will try and come over tomorrow and get your photo of Charlie. By Sunday I will have printed 200 posters for you and I will drop them off to you and also help put them up. You need to target the fair ground. Good luck with your search. I will help in every way that I can. Talk to you later. Justine Marlowe, Alfies mum.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
