Long talk to owner tonight. There hss only been one sighting within 24 hours of her going missing and nothing since.Owner has been very actively contacting vets, dog wardens for all areas, rescues etc.  Postering far and wide too. Suggested lots of media coverage for next week.  Jess is not over brave with strangers so may not approach somone unfamiliar. Farmers local to area will also now be sent information on her.  Please watch out for Jess..Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Further info via email to Admin: We only had Jess 10 days. She disappeared from our garden, in Silverton, DEVON, on  Thurs. 5th February. She was in the garden with our other two collies, when a relief post man arrived, leaving the gate open. She was spooked by the experience, and took off. A neighbour saw her in a nearby field on Friday, but she hasn't been seen since. She is wearing a red collar. She is very timid. She is a much loved pet.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner sorry to see Jess is missing, thanks for registering her details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.  Can you upload photo/s or email to admin@doglost.co.uk (QUOTE ID 17081) any problems with a photo let us know.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible, we cannot stress enough the importance of the postering.  Posters can be printed once a photo has been added by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be registered and logged in).   Has she gone missing from your home or on a walk? Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Please update us on who has been contacted i.e. DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope she is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
