I think the markings are slightly wrong but worth checking out and ruling out rather than missing - this boy is on facebook page Found in the Pound UK - https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xtf1/v/t1.0-9/11412100_376949625831371_4580586612620437051_n.jpg?oh=84bc814a07358c79fc954d0c75706468&oe=55F1E499

Thanks Wuzzy. I have been in email contact with several local helpers - they were trying to get the pubs, supermarket, pet shop, bookies etc covered. When I spoke to Simon (owner) at the weekend I suggested he post a poster to all local vets - not spoken to him since to see if this has been done or not, I will give him a call this evening and check. And thank you so much for sorting the local Farm Watch text alert. Wuzzy has managed to get Brackens details sent out to all locals on this scheme - about 70. The word is certainly spreading on Bracken thanks to all the fab helpers in that area doing a great job - THANK YOU. Come on Bracken we need you home and safely in the blue. It is a shame that owners ar not posting on this thread as it looks as if the thread is static. Have been in contact and they are devastated with the loss of these dear boys, and are working flat out postering and trying to get media attention to advertise the loss. We dearly want these boys back wher they belong so if anyone can help with postering please email me at yasa02@live.co.uk and I will send you posters by return email which can be printed and displayed - and circulated by email, and cross posted to other forums. Absolutely anything you can do, will help spread the word, even if it is to display posters in your back side windows when attending shows and dog activities. Please help get these dogs back where they belong. Thanks. Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oliver

Picture of Oliver Rehoming Centre
Leeds Breed
Whippet Crossbreed Age 1 Gender Male Likes and dislikes:  Poor 9-month-old Oliver has not had the best start to his life; a lady found him in her garden and he was then just skin and bones and could not even stand up. Arriving at Dogs Trust was a real turning point for Oliver. After lots of TLC, vet care and regular meals he is now in very good health. He is very loving little dog, but is very stressed in his kennel, so he needs to find a loving home quickly. Type of home needed:  Oliver will need someone who is willing to spend a lot of time with him, he will need an adult only home, with someone who will show him lots of love and affection this one on Darlington dog trustLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks for that Maggie's mum, and thank you for alerting owner. This is definitely the way they work. Posters are going out around the country as we type. We are covering all areas and counties. These boys will be too hot to handle everywhere so hopefuly if someone has bought them already, they will do the right thing and give them up. Substantial reward offerd for the safe recovery of these babies. We want them home safely as soon as possible now, no questions asked. All helpers reading this who can help in any areas, or can just email the posters and handouts to contacts all over the country, please email me yasa02@live.co.uk and I will send them to you. Thank you.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

I have spoken to owners and advised a few more areas to poster. A STOLEN poster has been made and can be obtained if wanted by email. All the usual places have been alerted council dog wradens and I have extended to details to bordering wardens. Fyull details have gone out on Kent police alerts ( Dogwatch-on the NHW scheme)   Owners are going to take out adverts and contact local apers to get as much publicity as possible.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken to owners. These two boys were stolen from a secure kennel on Wed morning between about 8.45 am and noon. Kennels wrebroken into. Owners have informed all authorities, vets, DW's, animal shelters. I do stress they need to get a crime number if they have not already done so. Posters are being put up everywhere and have advised as much publicity as possible, as soon as possible - radio stations, local papers and freebie papers. Make these dogs too hot to handle. There is a substancial reward offered for their safe return.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
