- Agree with everything #stoppettheft said. I still do not understand why people would want to buy a dog advertised for sale on these selling sites, Facebook, pub, street corner, car boot or anywhere other than a reputable registered breeder, or seller. I hope and pray this stops. No more suffering of dogs, and the torture and heartbreak their owners have to go through is unimaginable.
Such lovely news to see this beautiful girl reunited with her rightful owner. Stay safe now beautiful Flossy. xxx - 2021-11-18 11:01 #stoppettheft
- Hopefully the honest lady buyer will now be assisting with enquiries as to from whom she purchased poor Flossy.... A street corner, car boot, via an online Selling Site ?,..
At least this buyer chose to take a 'purchase' to a vet.. Hopefully for a health check / to be chipped.. & huge thanks to the vet for choosing to scan, or for recognising stolen Flossie..
..
Come on UK Govt, trading standards... If you won't force them to stop allowing pet sales, then Let's make these selling sites all ask for microchip numbers of the dogs being sold, & get them checked out.. Anything to deter this Despicable Crime... - 2021-11-18 10:13 Julie - Area Co-ordinator - Surrey & South London
- From Horsham and Surrounding Areas FB page "Sorry for late response, Flossy was found !!! After 10 days missing, she was found in a vets in Leighton Buzzard. She had been stolen, and sold on . Thankfully the poor lady she had been sold to was honest and gave her back !!!"
