Sorry to say no sign of her over Cissbury ring. Covered all the upper and lower fields and woods. Other walker i saw hadn't seen her either but all eyes out for her. Hope shes hope safe soon x

Hi,

I saw the post about Jenny the missing dog on Facebook.

I’m almost certain we came across this dog on its own last night (06/11) about 17:45/18:00.
Looked very much like the picture & right location.

We were driving on South Downs Way / Titch Hill (near Steyning Bowl).

It’s a single track road with no pavement & embankment either side.

There was no owner in sight.

We stopped & tried to help it but it seemed scared of us. As it got close a firework went off & it darted up the lane in the opposite direction.

It was dark & all we had were our phone flashlights.

We flagged down some other cars but they hadn’t seen it so assume it went off across a field.

We turned around to hunt for it in the car but no sign of it.

It was something like a short hair Collie. White with tan spots & looked very much like the photo.

I guess it could have been a farm dog but was very unusual to see it out in the dark with no owner on that road which is why we tried to stop.

It definitely had a collar & tag.

Sorry we couldn’t catch it but hope it narrows the search.
