My Dobies were foodies, could smell discarded food from a distance. Unknown must be hungry by now, how about a couple of portable barbecues or a smelly tripe trail.

Heading out at 7pm once dark to see if any movement. Will put laminated posters up on walk.
Kim0808
I’ve just laminated some posters so will get them up at the start of the coastal path and on posts going towards Osmington. Think we need a thermal drone to do a sweep if possible.

Wow, you did well today Kim0808, I hope the weather had improved by the time you went out.
A friend and I went to Bowleaze and handed posters to reception, cafe, restaurant etc and manged to get a couple taped to posts at beginning of coast path. Posters at the Lodmoor/Preston carpark and 1 given to postie who was delivering in the area. Many more needed along the coast path and parking areas. Dropped one off at reception at Haven Weymouth Bay.

Have just got back in having walked the bottom of the cliffs to Osmington and then back up along to top inland. No sightings. Had search dog with us but nothing 🥲. Will get posters sorted as nothing anywhere to say he’s missing

Thank you Kim0808, that sounds good in small groups. Binoculars, standing on good view points etc. If you are able to help with popping any posters up that would be great too.

As go out doing lost and founds was going to arrange a few separate small groups to scan area. Have contacted Stuart as he is a friend also. Will keep in contact.

No updates so far.
Large group searches are not recomended. Much better for walkers to casually walk in pairs chatting between yourselves, stopping and scanning the area and listening for any movement in the undergrowth.
A dog who has been separated from the owner for more than 24 hrs is likely to have switched to survival mode and will lie low or bolt if it feels its being hunted.

Any updates on this pup as we need to get groups up together to search for him
