Bailey had followed walkers who abandoned him and he was found by his finder who was looked after him.  Owners put a story in the Rossendale Free Press which finder seen, they also seen a poster in the vet on the same day.  Bailey has been back a few weeks but owner has only just caught up with letting everyone one know as he was advertised on a few sites etc.    Bailey has now been CHIPPED and NEUTERED.  Welcome home Bailey and great you are now in the BLUE.  Jan x Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Have spoken to owner.  Bailey was seen being led away from their property by walkers, he is a very friendly dog.  Have advised owner contacts DW's as far afield as possible in case the walkers thought he was a stray, by law they must report him as found.  Bailey has a very distinctive large black spot on the top of his head.  He is Black & White with no Tan marking at all. Have explained to owner how to up date us which they said they would do.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Hi, Does you dog have a tiny bit of brown on his cheek? There is a dog being offered on preloved dogs.co.uk half way down the 2nd page. The add says its only 8 months but to me looks older, (maybe the way the pic was taken tho). Doesnt say what area tho. Just thought it worth mentioning. Hope you find him soon. PA.  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Owner, sorry to see Bailey is missing.  Thanks for registering his details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.   Great you have uploaded photo/s (I've reloaded and cropped to bring him closer).  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible and MAKE HIM TOO HOT TO HANDLE, we cannot stress enough the importance of postering.  Posters can be printed one a photo has been added by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).  If he has been stolen you must get a CRIME No. Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Please update on who has been contacted, DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope he is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
