The owner of Amy has now confirmed that the one in kennels is not her.

I have now located where the found dog is & owner is aware & looking to send a good photo to compare markings. It is still hard to tell at this stage, as found dog is in poor condition. Will update when I know more.

Owner text to say that she is contacting the centre where the dog is to make further enquiries & will let me know the outcome.

Well done to their owner for being so persistant, fingers crossed it will not be long before Amy is also found, with her having a very noticeable ear carriage she will stand out.  Thanks for the text Jayne letting me know.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Oh how utterly frustrating.   Can't find words to describe the police non-action on this - at least not printable ones.   Stay safe Amy until you can be found xxLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Amy still missing. 3 other stolen Frenchies recovered from an address in the Rugely / Cannock area of Staffordshire. Amy was at the address the night before but police would not send anyone out..by the time they did eventually come out after several hours at the police station amy had been moved on. Owner is furious at police as they only came out when she said she was going in......she jammed her car across the back of the new "owners" car and demanded her dogs back...police threatened to arrest her for breach of the police when she demanded from "owner" the whereabouts of her 4th dog!!!!  As the police excepted the theifs word that he did not know.Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
