All We have sadly had no further sightings of Riley but still believe he is out there somewhere.  We are intending to reposter locally as due to the closeness of the sighting we believe he may still be in the area. I have checked all the dogs found but non are our little fellow. Thanks for the ongoing support. Jacqui Thanks Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks Alfmar for looking out for Riley the colouring of the found dog is different. Jacqui is there any more news on the sightings?  Mark any sightings on a map and make a note of the times he has been seen to see if a pattern is forming.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Riley has been sighted over the last two days at Timberlite in the Threapwood area close to Malpas.  A number of different people have seen him hanging around so we have targeted our search around this area, put up more posters and called local shops, garages, dog wardens etc.   We are heartened that Riley is still around and anyone local to the area to spread the word and keep your eyes open. Thank you Jacqui  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Thanks for the supportive comments from all.  It is just the worst feeling in the world not knowing whats happened to the little fellow.  We had the local hunt yesterday so we gave them lots of posters to have a look whilst out and about.  We have also updated our posters to include a reward in the hope that genuine people come forward if they know where he is.  We remain positive he knows he has a good home. Thanks again Jacqui  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Riley has still not shown his face.  I have continued to poster and walk & drive the country lanes on the look out.  Many people have said that if he takes a shine to a bitch he may well hang around her for a number of days. Fingers crossed that he is having his head turned. Goldenfrodo many thanks for the support you have provided in spreading the word locally it is greatly apprecaited.  It is just awful. We are keeping our fingers crossed.  Jacqui x  Last edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18

Jacqui, sorry to see Riley is missing.  Thanks for registering his details on DL, we will do all we can to help you in your search.   Great you have uploaded a photo.  You need to poster poster poster the area as much as possible we cannot stress enough the importance of postering.  Posters can be printed one a photo has been added by selecting Dog Poster 1 just above Dog Information (you must be logged in).  Has he gone missing from home or on a walk? Contact DW's, rescues, vets and leave a poster (you can find vets in the area by clicking on the logo right hand side just underneath Latest Missing photo).  Dogs can be rehomed after 7 days, try and visit rescues do not rely on phone calls alone.   Great he is Chipped do contact the Chip Co if not already and report him missing and check your details are up to date. Please update on who has been contacted, DW's etc and if you have started postering.  You can leave a comment by selecting  Add a comment  just above Comments.  Good luck and hope he is found soon.  Jan xLast edited: 2010-05-11 02:17:18
