Hi Lee. We all understand how you feel, as a member of your family has gone missing. I like yourself think that someone has him, so keep taking walks around the area. And hopefully one day the cat napper (If this is the case) will forget to close the door, and out Ozzy will run. Also check Pets located as there is always FOUND CATS on there . all xdd/

Thank you trudy I understand why people say it but as I've stated he was being kept in and darted out while I was letting the dogs out but it's not posts like that it's the nasty comments that I've reciewed in the last 10 weeks it's hard enough as it is I think he has been taken in and they are not letting him out like they did with Jack as neither of them are wanderers to this degree I always wear the same fragrance and I've followed all advice I'm constantly out looking for him too and he'd recognise my dogs as well as always came for a walk .I appreciate your advice but everything has been done and continues to be done the charity who us helping have been amazing xx Last edited: 2021-12-17 23:36:52 by Lee

Hi Lee. When people say having Ozzy neutered on his return, it`s because neutered cats are less likely to wander too, far as you know being a cat owner yourself. Some people don`t like black because they think they are unlucky, which is ridiculous. Actually black cats are usually very even tempered too. When searching for Ozzy wear the same deodorant say that you use on a day to basis as he will recognize the scent and your the one he trusts. Hi all thank you for all your messages and comments everything has been done in the quest to find ozzy his twin went missing for 5 weeks so believe he's been taken by the same people as the vet has confirmed he hadn't been straying for 5 weeks in too good condition so believed to of been mistaken for Jack as they are identical. Ozzy has not been chipped or snipped as was due to go to the vets but went missing before his appointment he had been in the house for sometime in the lead up to his appointment but has managed to dart out of the door while the dogs were being let out he has been a wanderer in the past but never for this long I continue to go searching everyday we have postered the entire village put flyersthrough all doors put dirty washing on the line been out with warm chicken and biscuits at night when it's quiet have contacted all rescues, vets and the 2 local councils within a 5 mile radius and nothing it's like he has just disappeared off the face of the earth. He has never been gone this long in the 4 years I've had him ,he loves coming for a walk with me and the dogs and jumping up onto my shoulders when he was tired to get a lift home we have been round his stompong ground with the dogs and nothing he's not the type to just get into an open Car or van we have regular delivery drivers within the village and hes never been bothered or interested in them ehet do ever. I have flooded the Internet with his picture which is a rare occurance as neither of my boys have ever been really keen on having the camera on them so most pictures they have their eyes closed or are a blur as they scarper away they have always disliked them but not sure why they have been here with me since they were 6 weeks old as they were an unwanted litter so i took these two as they were the only full black onesin yhe litter and some people are funny about black cats but I loved then straight away. I have Harvey's Army assisting me with the search too. and I'm now offering a finders fee too for his safe return and a bottle of the finders favourite tipples he'd home safe before Christmas just as an extra thank you. All I want is my boy back. His twin Is fretting for him as are his other fur siblings and our family life I'd unbearable without my boy and I just want him home he has already missed his birthday celebrations which was a bitter sweet occasion this year as we had Jack having hid regular birthday treats and a great day but no Ozzy this year its broken not only my heart but part of my soul since he went missing I love all my animals buy ozzy is very special we have animmense bond and I'm sure he will be missing me as much as i miss him so pleased if you are in our local area and know anyone who has taken a black cat in matching Ozzys description please ask them to do the right thing and let my boy come home he needs yo visit the vet as a matter of urgency now too which if whoever has him was hid owner they would be aware of this too. Please no nasty comments the loan is yo get him snipped and chipped on his return. Jack has now been snipped and chipped and has an apple itag GPS insitue I was hoping he would search for Oz bug the furthest he's been I'd 100 yards since his return which is more like him. This whole situation has really affected Jack mentally he's always Bern a scary cat but he's always on edge dance he returned. Ozzys wellbeing is at the forefront of my efforts to find him. Thank you all again I'vebeen having problems with my Gmail hence the long delay and dorry for the long post but wanted to give you all a full rundown on the situation. Xx

Please follow all the RELEVANT advice on MOLLY CAT`S post. Her page no.is 171624 (Moly has been reunited) It could be that someone has taken him in, thinking he is a stray. And sometimes a person will take a fancy to someone`s cat, and try to hide it in their house. I have known this happen so stay vigilant; just in case. And just because you can`t see a car doesn`t mean they aren`t around. Best time to search for a cat is evening/early morning. Also was there a delivery van in the area at the time Ozzy went missing? as many cats do this. Paws xd.Last edited: 2021-12-11 09:13:11 by TrudielovesMax!

Hi, I have been posting on several Facebook pages about a black cat I have been looking after since 05/11/2021. He is male not chipped but neutered. I am based in Hadfield/ Glossop. Have you found Ozzy?

Sorry to see that CAT OZZY is missing.
  • If your dog is microchipped please let the microchip company know that your dog is missing and check that all details are up to date.
  • Owners targeted by a malicious hoaxer demanding money for the return of their dog should phone the police on 101 immediately and contact admin@doglost.co.uk
  • A photograph of your dog is essential for the website. If you have not already uploaded one, please do so by clicking on Update details. Alternatively you can email it to admin@doglost.co.uk quoting the dog's DogLost ID number: (171859)

  • Contact dog wardens, vets and local rescue centres, and in Scotland, the Police. Give a detailed description with any distinguishing marks/scars or send them a copy of your DogLost poster. You can find vets in your area here.
  • If your dog has been stolen inform the police immediately and obtain a crime reference number (CRN). Send an email to stolen@doglost.co.uk.
  • If your dog is picked up and taken to rescue kennels, it can be legally re-homed after seven days. Visit rescue centres in person and do not rely on checking by phone alone. Other people may not recognise your dog by your description, so give them a DogLost poster.
