Thank you so much to all you lovely locals who have been sharing and sending sightings of Alice to us. We have been monitoring her movements for several days and had finally got her regularly coming to an area to feed. We have specialist equipment which has been deployed and she was almost secured yesterday. Sadly the location of the equipment was posted today on social media which has put the safe recovery of Alice in jeopardy. We have now had to remove it! Alice chose the location herself. She can only be secured when she finds a place that she is secure enough to regularly re visit and then we can contain her safely and humanely. We are now looking for a new area to lure her too, but this could take several days and dogs have minds of their own! It is not by choice to put equipment in public places, but please be assured all equipment belonging to the Lost Dog trapping Team is safe and humane and is monitored 24/7. If you in future see any equipment please leave it be. Alice is now a dog well into survival mode, and we really need you all onboard please. Huge thanks again. Any sightings please call her owner on the poster number. X

Give your postman, bin man, local window cleaner and milkman all the details – a leaflet would be good with a photo and your contact number – they will walk/travel all around the area and may spot them.
