- Check all outbuildings THOROUGHLY as some cats will hide in or behind an object within especially if timid. Bear in mind too that cats have very flexible spines so they can squeeze into very small spaces (About 2"/3" wide so has she managed to climb into a partially opened window and is now trapped? Exit can be more difficult; it depends on the drop. When searching outbuildings check numerous times as cats can stay very still, and quiet when trapped. They are renowned for it. Check trees; any decking too. Put her UNWASHED blanket into a clean container, and leave in the garden in a sheltered spot, or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Put some tuna/sardines or warm chicken in her dish, and call her. Rattle some Dreamies too. Empty contents of litter tray onto the garden. DO NOT leave out the liter box/tray as other cats may use it, and it could confuse, and upset the cat. Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden too as her scent will be there. Wipe her scent on all your garden fences; gates doors tool anything leading up to the garden. Take good walks around the area holding an object with her scent on, and rattle some Dreamies. Someone may be feeding Rainbow (Common problem) Try a squeaky toy as it may attract her attention. Just because you can`t see a cat it doesn`t mean the aren`t around. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Also is there a dominant cat in the area? As sometimes they will chase a less confident out it`s own territory. However the chased cat will not return until the think it`s "Safe" enough for them to do so. Paws x that Honey will be reunited very soon xLast edited: 2022-02-23 08:55:15 by TrudielovesMax!
