Amazing to get the news she was safe and then reunited. She is one very lucky girl to be running around an area with one of the busiest roads in Merseyside (The East Lancs).

As usual CLAIN excelled in getting her safe, the Community was great reporting sightings quickly to help the Team know where she was. CLAIN always give fantastic support when one of their dogs goes missing.

Well done everyone you all made her REUNION happen. Welcome home gorgeous KAYA sending you big hugs. ❤️❤️❤️

❤️ KAYA IS SAFE ❤️ Will update ASAP

CROSS POSTED UPDATE by CLAIN:

We are delighted to announce that Kaya is now safe and back recovering from her ordeal in the arms of her loving family.

Kaya’s family and our team worked so hard to bring her home safely, her family followed every bit of advice and guidance and have shown the utmost commitment to their beautiful girl and we are so grateful. Homes and families where our adopted dogs are loved and given so much happiness are what we love to see.

Kaya’s escape is another reminder that any dog can spook unexpectedly even on a familiar walk in a familiar area and when you least expect it.

We would like to say a special thanks to the cyclist who sighted Kaya this morning, Arthur and his dog who came to find us to report the sighting, the lady and gentleman who pulled over to help, the couple from the house nearby, and the lorry driver who gave up his lunch to allow our staff to secure Kaya when she was truly in danger on the East Lancs Road. Such captures are fraught with danger and this is why we are glad we could have trained staff on the scene to help. We would also like to say a huge thank you to everyone who’s driven round quietly calmly looking for Kaya without searching, as we requested. And although she will not be happy at being singled out, a massive thank you to Charlotte who secured Kaya in very dangerous and testing circumstances. Our staff really are worth their weight in gold!

Welcome hone beautiful, your family love you so much and are so happy to have you back safe and sound ❤️
