"UPDATE: Rebel has been found and is home SAFE AND SOUND with her family.
Again as with most dog captures, this was a team effort. DogLost contacted me in Fife, I begged and pleaded with the amazing trap team in Aberdeen and together with loads of hard work from the family in Elgin, we managed to trap her in 2 days - that’s great teamwork!!! Hands across Scotland 🥰.
Huge thanks to Moira Fearn and Andrew Strange for organizing the transportation of the trap and kit over to Elgin, to the police at RAF Lossiemouth, and so many lovely people around Elgin and Moray area - you shared the post like mad and so many people were out looking and helping and the family were blown away by the help and are so grateful xxx
Thanks too to Susan Fraser for her help behind the scenes and to wee Rebel who was easy to catch and seems very happy to be back home surrounded by chicken, sausages and tears xxx
We hope you understand why we kept the post quiet - we were getting sightings but needed the area, which was already busy with dog walkers, to be as quiet as possible for the trap and to keep her there as her safe place.
So this post is one for celebration and happiness now, congratulations and good wishes - please folks - any other comments will just be deleted - time for lots of happiness - another Lost dog is found xx
Sleep tight Rebel xxx and have a great life ahead xxxx" - 2022-02-20 22:52 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer
