🐺 SEARCH PARTY 🐺
SUNDAY 19TH JUNE.5pm!
A call out for the help of Community Spirit 🙏
Area of Dorset/Somerset
https://maps.app.goo.gl/YPTv2pjNDwePKx286
To gather a search party tomorrow the Sunday 19th June at 5pm to search for Awen the baby wolf.
Nearly 4 months ago our dear friends Husky went missing in the area that I’ve attached.
A couple of days ago there was a positive sighting of her in Maiden Newton a 10 minute drive from where she originally went missing.
We are asking for anyone that is free and wanting to help to meet at this point https://maps.app.goo.gl/YPTv2pjNDwePKx286
We will split up into pairs/groups and enjoy a walk and to seek any evidence of her and call out.
PLEASE BRING :-
🐺 A dog lead/rope and collar if you have spare as she may or may not have a collar on.
🍖 Some kind of dog treat to entice her to you such as fresh raw meat, cooked meat, a bone or dried meat treat.
Upon meeting at the site we will all have a briefing from Daniel whom is Awens guardian and go from there. Last edited: 2022-06-19 07:57:37 by Ness- Central area volunteer - 2022-06-17 17:25 Poochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
- A similar looking husky was seen on the A356 near the turning to Toller Porcorum on the 9th June. Cars stopped and members of the public tried to catch the dog before it ran off towards Maiden Newton.
So far this dog has not been identified as a local escapee.
If anyone has seen or heard of a husky loose in the area please call the poster numbers. - 2022-04-23 20:00 Sharon - Social Media Volunteer

At lunch time on the 7th March when a flat bed truck was parked in the layby near the carpark. May have been a workman stopped for lunch break? We would like to the driver as he may have seen Awen on the road and could tell us which direction she was travelling. - 2022-03-17 16:00 Poochpal - Regional Co-ordinator - South West - Police Liaison Team
